- Michigan Wings Bird Rescue provides top-notch rescue services for birds in distress. Our dedicated team ensures timely responses to rescue calls and prioritizes the well-being and safety of each bird.
Rehabilitation Programs
- Through specialized rehabilitation programs, we nurture and heal injured or sick birds. Our experts provide tailored care and treatment to help each bird recover and thrive in a safe environment. Our birds are introduced to a 100% free flying environment and intermingle with each other with the exception of some species.
Rehoming Initiatives
- Michigan Wings Bird Rescue facilitates rehoming initiatives to find forever homes for birds in our care. We match birds with loving families to ensure they receive the care and attention they deserve. We require a free fly contract to be signed stating you will allow the birds a minimum of 6-8 hrs of free fly time. Remember, these birds were rehabilitated in a 100% free fly environment and they deserve to be free.
Community Engagement
- Engaging with the community is at the core of our work. We organize awareness campaigns, educational events, and outreach programs to promote bird rescue and conservation efforts.
